My practice has always been open to men, women, and children alike ---care here is open to everyone, but within that broad scope, I tend to specialize in women’s health issues, as this is an area of particular focus and expertise in my practice.
I do not accept insurance, and there are many reasons for this. Insurance companies impose rules, session limits, required diagnoses, and pre-approved care plans that can restrict the kind of care a holistic provider is able to offer. By not participating in insurance networks, I am able to:
*Recommend a care plan that I believe serves your best interest
*Allow YOU to determine the frequency, length, and type of sessions based on what you need, rather than what an insurer will authorize
*Keep your medical details out of insurance company records, giving you a greater degree of privacy and confidentiality
*Spend our time together focused on you and your health concerns, rather than on documentation requirements dictated by a third party
Yes! I can order a wide range of laboratory tests, including routine bloodwork, diagnostic panels, and specialty testing, as needed.
No. All medications should only be adjusted or removed by the prescribing physician or your primary care provider. If you are currently taking prescription medications or under the care of another provider, I am happy to work collaboratively alongside your existing care team.
For your safety, I will only advise on supplements I've personally researched and vetted. I invest significant time and education into the products I recommend so I can confidently speak to their quality, dosing, and potential interactions, while supporting your care safely.
I understand Amazon can be a convenient option, but I have significant concerns about supplement quality and authenticity when purchased there. Amazon has many third-party sellers, and it can be difficult to verify whether a product is genuine, properly stored, or even the true version originally manufactured by the brand. Counterfeit and mislabeled supplements have been a documented issue on this platform, which can affect both safety and effectiveness. To ensure you're getting an authentic, potent, properly stored and handled product, I recommend purchasing directly from the supplement manufacturer, one of their vetted dispensaries, or your local, trusted health food store. As I’ve noted previously, I will not advise on supplements I’ve personally not vetted.
No, I would not describe myself as a purist.
My approach centers on identifying and addressing root causes rather than simply managing symptoms, reflecting my belief in supporting the body’s own capacity to heal through natural therapeutics, nutrition, and lifestyle modification.
That said, I am not opposed to short-term pharmaceutical intervention when it’s clinically appropriate - particularly in emergency situations or when a client’s life depends on it. My priority is always what serves the client’s health and healing, and that may occasionally include conventional treatment alongside a natural, root-cause approach. I pride myself on working collaboratively with all types of practitioners to support your best interest, ensuring you receive well-rounded, coordinated care from your health team.
